Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant and outlet operations when the manager is away, ensuring guest satisfaction, food quality, and cost control. • 2+ years of experience in full-service restaurants, bars, banquets, and kitchen management.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

F&B – Operations Manager

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Manager. In this role, you will temporarily step in and oversee daily business operations when the regular manager is away, sick, or on vacation, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, organization, and leadership of day-to-day tasks in the assigned workspace to achieve stated objectives across sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. In this role, you’ll report to the Food and Beverage Director.

This role supports the restaurant leadership team in full-service and fast-casual settings and is not solely responsible for a single space. As such, the right individual will have the opportunity to learn all areas of Food and Beverage within The Resort as they prepare for the next step in their career growth with Kalahari Resorts.

Salary Range – Starting at $70,000/yr

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in full-service restaurants, bars, banquets, and kitchen management required.

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

• 3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is needed.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in front-of-house operations, preferably with at least 3 years in a supervisory or assistant management role within a hotel or resort setting.

• Experience overseeing multiple full-service restaurant locations simultaneously, ideally with at least 2 years of experience.

• Knowledge of food and beverage inventory management, recipe adherence, and cost control.

• A general understanding of food and beverage operations, financial performance, and profit and loss (P&L) management.
