Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and maintain WarHorse Gaming's Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Set up, maintain, and break down the expediting station in line with business needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and presentation standards.
• Monitor and manage the flow of orders through KDS or tickets.
• Assist in final preparation of dishes, including garnishing and quality checks.
• Communicate special requests, modifications, and allergy alerts to culinary team.
• Assemble completed orders in the correct sequence for pickup by service staff.
• Confirm accuracy and completeness of orders before delivery to guests.
• Ensure timely delivery of food orders by coordinating with service staff and runners.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
• Attend required training sessions and departmental meetings.
• Maintain professional appearance and provide internal service to team members.

Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Expeditor plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the accurate and timely flow of food orders between the kitchen and front-of-house team. This position supports smooth kitchen operations, effective communication, and consistent service standards as defined by outlet expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and maintain the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC.
• Set up, maintain, and break down the expediting station in compliance with expected business volume and health code regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and presentation standards.
• Monitor and manage the flow of orders through Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) or printed tickets.
• Assist in the final preparation of dishes, including garnishing and quality checks.
• Communicate special requests, modifications, and allergy alerts clearly to the culinary team.
• Assemble completed orders in the correct sequence for pick-up by service staff.
• Confirm the accuracy and completeness of all orders before they are delivered to guests.
• Ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests by coordinating with service staff and food runners.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Adhere to all departmental and company policies, procedures, and internal controls, as well as applicable government regulations.
• Attend required training sessions and departmental meetings.
• Maintain a professional, polished appearance and provide exceptional internal service to fellow team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and touch-screen technology.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication skills with a commitment to guest service excellence.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Previous server and/or culinary experience.
• Food Handler certification.
• ServSafe certification.
• TIPS Alcohol Certification.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Frequent movement throughout food and beverage and hospitality environments.
• Exposure to loud noises, chemicals and fumes, and work safety hazards.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Requires physical mobility, agility, balance, coordination, and endurance throughout assigned shifts.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers requiring dexterity.
• Requires sustained concentration and ability to work under time pressure.
• Frequent verbal communication with guests, team members, and culinary staff.
• Requires the ability to see, distinguish colors, hear, smell, taste, and use sense of touch as part of food service operations.

Schedule

• Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
• Travel is not required for this position.
