Job Summary

The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for assisting the service staff in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest dining areas and restaurant beverage stations. When necessary, this position will work as a cashier to cover breaks or full shifts. The team member must maintain a positive demeanor and pleasant attitude towards all guests and team members.

Reports to

F&B Shift Lead

Essential Functions

• Ensure compliance with Tribal, Federal, gaming laws, and Kickapoo policies.
• Provide high standards of guest service, responding to concerns and questions.
• Maintain cleanliness by wiping tables, replacing tablecloths, and cleaning surfaces.
• Set and maintain tables with linens, condiments, and silverware.
• Handle dishes and tableware, assist with food and beverage replenishment.
• Assist guests with requests and deliver food orders as needed.
• Greet guests, provide professional service, and handle issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, promotions, and gaming options.
• Work as a cashier when required, including handling cash and balancing tills.
• Promote KLECH core values and maintain confidentiality.
• Complete required training and ensure compliance with financial reporting and anti-money laundering policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Restaurant and guest service experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages a plus.

Other Criteria

Preference for qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and Native Americans.

Physical Demands

• Casino floor, office settings, smoke-filled environments, and varying noise levels.
• Extended hours, irregular shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Conditions of Employment

• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license and work authorization.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
• Compliance with policies, participation in tip reporting, and background checks.
