Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co at Universal Orlando is seeking a barista to deliver prompt, friendly coffee and beverage service in a high-volume setting. You will handle cash, stay knowledgeable on menu items, and ensure guest satisfaction across shifts.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of barista experience, strong English communication, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Training and development opportunities are available within our team.

Qualifications

• Food and Beverage knowledge required.
• Minimum 1 year of Starbucks Barista or comparable Coffee House experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proven experience working in high-volume Food and Beverage operations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing prompt, efficient and professional food and beverage service with a working knowledge of cash handling, inventory and food preparation procedures.
• Maintains current knowledge of all menu offerings, to include ingredients, preparation method, presentation, appearance and time required.
• Monitors guests at all times, anticipates needs, responds to requests, ensures satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.
