Job summary

Irvine Ice Foundation is hiring a part-time F&B Attendant (GPI) to support all Food & Beverage outlets during arena events. The position requires a minimum age of 21, with a starting rate of $20.00 per hour.

Hours vary with the event schedule and the role operates within the Great Park Ice and Sports Complex in Irvine, CA. Responsibilities include greeting guests, expediting orders, stocking and cashier support, and ensuring food safety and sanitation.

• Prior customer service and cash handling experience is a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with guest satisfaction as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Stock products, set up condiment and cashier stations, and display baskets.
• Assist in the preparation of food items across Food & Beverage outlets.
• Assist cashiers with orders and beverage service.

• Support other Food & Beverage departments as needed.

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

F&B Attendants assist in the overall operation of all Food & Beverage outlets. This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Food and Beverage Department of the Great Park Ice and Sports Complex. Hours for this position fluctuate depending on the arena event schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner
• Expedite guest food orders promptly at concession stands, portables, and restaurant areas
• Stock product, set up condiment stations, cashier stations, and display baskets
• Assist in the preparation of food items in all Food and Beverage areas
• Assist cashiers with orders and pour beverages
• Check concessions equipment to ensure proper use
• Thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
• Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
• Partner with other team members to ensure food and beverage quality
• Understand and execute responsible alcohol service
• Understand and maintain proper sanitation and food safety
• Be comfortable with thearena and know how to navigate personally and assist guests
• Support any other Food & Beverage departments as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus
• Able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment in which guest satisfaction is always the goal
• Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
