Job summary

Great Park Ice is seeking a part-time F&B Attendant to support all food and beverage outlets during arena events in Irvine, CA. The starting rate is $20.00 per hour, and hours vary with event schedules.

You will greet guests, take and expedite orders, stock stations, and assist in food prep while ensuring proper sanitation and safe alcohol service. Prior customer service is a plus, Serve Safe certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Serve Safe certification required.
• 0-1 year of experience in food/beverage or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
• Expedite guest food orders promptly at concession stands, portables, and restaurant areas.
• Stock product, set up condiment stations, cashier stations, and display baskets.
• Assist in the preparation of food items in all Food and Beverage areas.
• Assist cashiers with orders and pour beverages.
• Check concessions equipment to ensure proper use.
• Thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities.
• Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment.
• Partner with other team members to ensure food and beverage quality.
• Understand and execute responsible alcohol service.
• Understand and maintain proper sanitation and food safety.
• Be comfortable with the arena and know how to navigate personally and assist guests.
• Support any other Food & Beverage departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

F&B Attendants assist in the overall operation of all Food & Beverage outlets. This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Food and Beverage Department of the Great Park Ice and Sports Complex. Hours for this position fluctuate depending on the arena event schedule.

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus
• Able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment in which guest satisfaction is always the goal
• Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors

• Strong attention to detail andproven customer service skills
• Exceptional organization and prioritization is a must
