Job summary

Boeing Aerospace Operations, part of Boeing Global Services, seeks a F/A-18 Airframe Field Service Representative to support the Kuwaiti Air Force at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait. The role requires engineering interpretation, flight hardware knowledge, and readiness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, training, and coordinating maintenance for F/A-18 airframes, hydraulics, and fuel systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics & technical publications.
• 5+ years of experience on F/A-18 Hornet Airframes, Hydraulic and Fuel System.
• 5+ years of experience performing Fault Isolation Troubleshooting on Fuel and Hydraulic Systems.
• Must be willing and able to deploy/travel to various locations on short notice.
• Must be willing and able to relocate to domestic and international locations.

Responsibilities

• Provides Support for F/A-18 Airframes and Powerplants Systems to the Kuwaiti Air Force, including engine, airframe interfaces, flight control systems, rigging, environmental controls, landing gear, structures, and hydraulics.
• Leads technical field support of company products.
• Performs troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems and specialty coverage.
• Resolves maintenance and operational issues.
• Monitors product performance and makes recommendations for issue resolution.
• Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.
• Develops and conducts ad hoc training.
