Job summary

City Safe Partners is seeking an experienced FDNY-certified F-80 Fire Safety Supervisor to coordinate fire safety and alarm systems at homeless shelters in the Bronx. This supervisory role requires strong leadership and FDNY compliance to protect vulnerable residents.

Required: F-80 Certificate, NYS Security Guard License, CPR/First Aid, 1 year of shelter alarm panel experience, and willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• FDNY F-80 Certificate of Fitness required.
• NYS Security Guard License required.
• 1 year minimum experience operating a fire alarm control panel in shelters.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of NYC Fire Code and FDNY rules for shelters.
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in security or fire safety.
• Excellent communication, documentation and decision‑making skills.
• Availability for nights, weekends and holidays (Bronx ONLY).

F-80 FIRE SAFETY SUPERVISOR- BRONX(Security Department)

City Safe Partners is seeking experienced, FDNY-certified F-80 Fire Safety Supervisors to serve as Coordinators of Fire Safety and Alarm Systems at homeless shelter locations in the Bronx, New York. This is a supervisory-level role requiring strong leadership, fire safety expertise, and the ability to ensure full FDNY compliance while protecting some of New York City’s most vulnerable residents

Requirements

• Valid FDNY F-80 Certificate of Fitness — Coordinator of Fire Safety and Alarm Systems in Homeless Shelters (required)
• Valid NYS Security Guard License (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a fire alarm control panel in a shelter setting
• CPR / First Aid certification (required or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong knowledge of NYC Fire Code and FDNY regulations applicable to shelter environments
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in a security or fire safety role
• Excellent communication, documentation, and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Prior security supervisory experience preferred
• Valid NYS Security Guard License required
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and supervise multiple sites
• Professional appearance and demeanor required
