Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic 3 or 4 to support Low Observables on the F-35 program at NAS Lemoore, CA. The role involves O-Level maintenance, field modifications, and CMMS record-keeping as part of CLS support.

The position requires the ability to obtain relevant certifications, pass physical/respiratory evaluations, and work a rotating shift including nights and weekends. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher (US Citizenship required).
• Ability to work first, second, third, or weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surfaces for coating and applies sealants/paints per specifications.
• Performs maintenance, repair, and servicing on F-35 aircraft to ensure safe flight readiness.
• Performs Field-Level Modifications and CLS maintenance actions.
• Maintains aircraft records in CMMS (ALIS) and communicates status to production staff.
• Configures aircraft for modifications and assists with software uploads and system checkouts.
• Troubleshoots and repairs system failures during operational checks and maintenance.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

USAF 5 or 7-skill level
