Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Air Systems Information System Security Engineer to support the F-35 program. The role focuses on security engineering, SAPs, and continuous monitoring for air system and ground support information systems.

The candidate should have a Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred), 5+ years of relevant design/engineering experience, and strong knowledge of secure design, architecture, and coding practices within DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
• 5+ years designing and developing organizational information systems.
• Experience with security controls, secure design, and secure architecture.
• 1+ year in airframe/weapon system security in secure networks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct information system security engineering activities.
• Refine security requirements for Air System and Ground Support info systems and ensure integration via secure design and architecture.
• Provide cybersecurity engineering support; oversee POA&M resolution and continuous monitoring.
• Assure SAPs are accurate and delivered; witness tests for TRR readiness.
• Lead and mentor ISSE/IASAEs; support Air System, Flight Test, and PMO teams.
