F - 22 Repair and Modification Sheet Metal Technician (Contract)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced F-22 Repair and Modification Sheet Metal Technician to join the F-22 program at Nellis AFB, NV.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  2. Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
  3. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  4. Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  5. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  6. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
  7. Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

Required Skills:

  1. Experience with aircraft maintenance
  2. Close tolerance drilling

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15)
  2. Security Clearance within the past 2 years

Pay Rate Range:

Min Pay Rate: $35.75

Max Pay Rate: $40.05

Currency: USD

Unit: hourly
