Description

Valiant is looking for a talented F-16 Training Integration Coordinator (TIC) to ensure training products are developed, delivered, and maintained to meet operational requirements, instructional standards, and contract deliverables. This role integrates the work of internal staff and subcontractors—coordinating across SMEs, ISDs, and government points of contact—to ensure content is accurate, timely, and instructionally sound.The ideal candidate combines F-16 platform familiarity (from maintenance, training, or support), instructional development experience, and subcontractor oversight skills. They operate with high autonomy, directly support the Program Manager, and are essential to managing both the product pipeline and the external vendors contributing to it.This is a hybrid role based in Tucson, AZ, offering schedule flexibility while requiring a regular on-site presence for coordination, curriculum reviews, and discussions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and integrate work across internal teams and subcontracted resources.
  • Translate F-16 maintenance and operational inputs into instructional requirements, ensuring both technical accuracy and instructional quality.
  • Manage the courseware lifecycle: kickoff meetings, development check-ins, version tracking, internal QA, government submission, and response integration.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance: enforce schedules, validate deliverables, ensure contract compliance, and escalate risks or quality issues to PM as needed.
  • Maintain configuration management of training products, version history, and TO-aligned documentation.
  • Lead Training Needs Assessment (TNA) planning sessions, scenario update working groups, and partner-nation curriculum alignment efforts.
  • Serve as point of contact for coordination, government tasker clarification, and product demonstrations.
  • Support project planning, milestone reviews, and TO delivery tracking using standard tools (Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.

CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Active Interim Secret preferred.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting F-16 maintenance or aviation training.
  • Prior experience coordinating or overseeing subcontractors, especially in content production, training development, or TO delivery contexts.
  • Familiarity with ISD/ADDIE methodology, training systems, and the lifecycle of courseware development.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to navigate between technical, instructional, and contractual domains.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite; working knowledge of LMS, TMS, or training content management platforms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Direct experience in F-16 training environments
  • Experience supporting contract training TOs (AETC, AFLCMC, or SAF/IA environments).
  • Background as a military or civilian instructor, maintenance trainer, or QA specialist.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees. This job will primarily be in an Office Setting.
