Position Summary and Job Responsibilities

BGI is seeking both full-time and part-time F-16 Pilots as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support our USAF and International F-16 Simulation & Training contracts in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. Full-time candidates must reside in the DFW area (relocation negotiable). Part-time candidates can live anywhere in the country. Positions are available immediately.

We require highly skilled SMEs to provide operational support in the design, testing, and delivery of high-fidelity simulation systems. You will collaborate with engineers and end-users to develop effective training solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Support F-16 flight simulator design by providing operational insights into F-16 performance and capabilities to development engineers.
  2. Provide expertise on F-16 systems, avionics, weapons, and operational capabilities.
  3. Help generate testing procedures to verify simulator performance against training requirements.
  4. Conduct Test & Evaluation (T&E) and Validation & Verification (V&V) on F-16 simulators and related systems.
  5. Document discrepancies and operational deficiencies for review by program teams.
  6. Contribute to developing current and future training solutions based on end-user needs and emerging technologies.
  7. Participate in customer meetings to translate end-user needs into training development.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with F-16 aircraft operations and performance, including:
    • Engine/Aero performance
    • Avionics and communication systems
    • Weapons systems
    • F-16 tactical employment
  • Knowledge of F-16 Dash 1 & Operations Manuals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate technical information into understandable terms.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
