Job Title: F-16 Operations Suitability Analyst (mid-level)

Location: Florida - Eglin Air Force Base - Eglin AFB, FL 32542 US (Primary)

Job Description: Torch Technologies is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Suitability Analyst to join our dynamic team developing and enhancing the F-16 aircraft. As an F-16 Suitability Analyst, you will play a vital role, ensuring its optimal performance and safety.

This position requires a highly motivated individual. The successful candidate will assist the F-16 OFP CTF at Eglin AFB, FL as part of a highly skilled integrated product team to develop and test new Radar, datalinks, advanced sensors, and advanced weapon combat capabilities for the F-16CM.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provides support to Program Engineers and Test Engineers during the test planning, execution, and reporting phases of each OFP CTF developmental and operational test.
  2. Participates in test execution, data collection in assessing systems effectiveness and system suitability during test reporting.
  3. Assists in the development of data collection forms and logs, coordination with aircraft maintenance personnel, and other suitability planning tasks.
  4. Populates databases to ensure robust, secure, and responsive data control and evaluation capability.
  5. Works with F-16 Maintenance and Test Engineers to create required data products for test reporting and coordinates efforts across test planning, execution, and reporting activities.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and 8-10 years of experience in an engineering or operations suitability analyst capacity is required. Six years of applicable technical experience may be substituted for the BS Degree or four years' experience with an Associate's Degree.
  2. Active SECRET clearance is required (investigation within the last five years). Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  3. Knowledge of flight line F-16 avionics/weapons development systems, and practical system experience.
  4. Experience in performing F-16 aircraft maintenance debriefing, collecting flight data and populating databases.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel is required.
  6. Experience in test planning, test execution and test reporting for flight test programs is required.
  7. Must be a self-motivated expert able to take responsibility for identifying, organizing, coordinating, and executing necessary tasks leading to the successful accomplishment of assigned duties.
  8. Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an integrated test team.
  9. Must be able to effectively communicate orally and possess technical writing skills to provide maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in test design, data collection, data analysis and creating test plans/reports for fighter flight test programs.
  2. Experience in tracking, reporting and reviewing hardware and software failures for advanced aircraft systems.
  3. Experience in efficiently conveying maintenance information to system engineers and pilots.
  4. Experience in reviewing new technical orders and submitting changes to correct errors in the documents.
