Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer (Testing) to support Air National Guard (ANG) F-16 Mission Tactics Trainer (MTT) simulators in Mesa, AZ. The individual’s primary responsibility will be to design and plan testing for network systems; provide specifications and detailed schematics for testing network architecture; create, modify and review network test plans.

#LI-MJ1 Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with system administrators

Qualifications

5 years with Bachelors, 3 with Masters, 0 with PhD/JD; HS diploma with 9 years relevant experience.
DoD 8140 IAT Level II cert (Security+ CE, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC).
Experience with Windows OS
L2/L3 networking knowledge
Software configuration management per STIGs & cybersecurity requirements
Network traffic analysis with Wireshark or similar
US citizen
Active DoD Secret clearance

Responsibilities

Design, install, and maintain Windows servers and Citrix Provisioning environments.
Configure software and perform basic configuration management under STIGs.
Plan for and respond to trouble tickets.
Collaborate on flight simulator software design and integration.
Provide software help for office apps and simulation tools.
Apply patches, security fixes, and firmware updates.
Identify long-range requirements.
Must be able to travel.
