Job summary

Nickerson Talent Solutions is recruiting experienced F-16 maintainers for a direct-hire role at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The position targets former or current USAF personnel with F-16 Crew Chief, Aircraft Maintenance or Avionics backgrounds, ready to perform flightline maintenance and ensure aircraft readiness.

Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work outdoors around active aircraft, and must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• F-16 maintenance experience.
• USAF 5-Level or equivalent experience.
• F-16 Crew Chief, Aircraft Maintenance or Avionics background.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform flightline maintenance on F-16 aircraft.
• Support aircraft launch, recovery and dispatch operations.
• Perform inspections, servicing and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems.
• Support aircraft readiness and organizational-level maintenance.
• Perform aircraft ground handling and servicing.
• Maintain strict FOD prevention and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot and maintain F-16 electrical and avionics systems.
• Perform fault isolation and corrective maintenance.
• Remove, install and replace avionics components.
• Perform inspections and operational checks.
• Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Support flightline launch and recovery operations.

What You'll Be Doing
