Job summary

The Aircraft Technician II position at Luke AFB, AZ involves applying intermediate to advanced level maintenance for F-16 aircraft. Reporting to the section Lead, this role ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and aligned with company goals.

Essential duties include maintaining aircraft systems, using manuals and blueprints to diagnose issues, coordinating with material support, and ensuring safety and tool accountability across all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• In-depth maintenance experience with F-16 or similar platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations, particularly 14 CFR 91 & 135, is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of aircraft systems including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, electrical.
• Use technical data, maintenance manuals, and blueprints to diagnose malfunctions.
• Assist in scheduling, material support coordination, and production management.
• Communicate discrepancies and corrective actions to aircrew prior to departure.
• Demonstrate proper housekeeping and tool accountability throughout the maintenance process.

Education

FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred
