Job summary

Blue Air Training Corp. seeks an Aircraft Technician II to perform intermediate to advanced maintenance on F-16 aircraft at Luke AFB, AZ. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain aircraft systems, following technical data and manuals under supervision.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of maintenance experience, FAA knowledge, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and travel within the US and internationally. Strong safety and documentation practices are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• In-depth maintenance experience with F-16 or similar aircraft.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations, 14 CFR 91 & 135.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company policies, FAA airworthiness standards, train subordinates accordingly.
• Adhere to OSHA and OH&S requirements, use PPE, safety systems, and tools.
• Perform maintenance and repair of aircraft components including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Use technical data, maintenance manuals, and blueprints to diagnose and resolve equipment or aircraft malfunctions.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge in aircraft systems, electrical theory, unique tools, maintenance documentation, and ground equipment operation.
• Assist in scheduling, material support coordination, and overall production management.
• Communicate supply and equipment levels; report shortages and ensure timely resolution.
• Must obtain and maintain a CAC and security clearance.
