Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an F-16 Avionics Technician to assemble and fabricate electrical or mechanical components and to support on-aircraft maintenance efforts in a security-conscious environment.

Success requires at least 2 years of avionics experience on F-16s, knowledge of F-16 avionics, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. A high school diploma or GED and military avionics training are required.

F-16 Avionics Technician

The Opportunity

Assemble or fabricate electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment, including the operations of mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Collaborate with a team under general supervision and provide guidance for less experienced team members.

You Have

• 2+ years of experience performing aircraft maintenance tasks as an avionics specialist on F‑16 aircraft
• Knowledge of F-16 Avionics
• Ability to perform on-aircraft physical tasks associated with F‑16 aircraft maintenance and perform repetitive movements, including standing, working overhead, and using hands to grasp and feel
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Graduate of a Military Avionics Technical School

Nice If You Have

• Experience performing aircraft maintenance tasks as an avionics specialist on F-35 aircraft

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
