Job summary

Childbase Partnership is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or above) for West Downs Day Nursery in Winchester. This permanent role offers 18-40 hours per week across 52 weeks, with shifts from 07:30 to 18:30.

You will work as a Key Person, plan engaging activities, and support safeguarding and learning through play, contributing to a safe, inclusive environment. We provide generous leave, training opportunities, childcare discounts, wellbeing support and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• DfE approved early years qualification at level 2 or above.
• Knowledge of the EYFS and ability to plan/high quality activities to promote learning through play.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child well-being.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-quality activities to promote learning through play as a Key Person.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress.
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure children’s safety and development.
