Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to complete detailed tasks to accurate completion.
• Ability to work independently, meeting goals and deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, instructions and manuals.
• Basic understanding and use of computer.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and pull customer orders and ship orders.
• Move material from receiving or storage areas to shipping or designated areas.
• Fill sales orders, or purchase orders for materials, products, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or designated area.
• Ensure warehouse is an accessible and safe workplace.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Weigh, audit and count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Prepare parcels for mailing and enter them into the tracking system.
• Refurbish the product in fine detail for resale.
• Maintain the work area in a neat, clean and organized condition.
• Follow all company and manufacturer’s policies and procedures and ensure attendance, safety rules, and regulations are met; maintain confidentiality of proprietary and HIPAA protected information.
• Assist others to keep workload even; provide training and guidance to less experienced coworkers.
