Job summary

Sunglass Hut, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Casual Part-Time Eyewear Ambassador in Fort Wayne, IN. The role focuses on selling Luxottica brands, maintaining merchandising standards, and delivering excellent customer service to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Eyewear sales experience.
• Retail merchandising or selling experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Aptitude for selling, energetic and passionate.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to take initiative to generate creative selling solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Flexible with scheduling.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Comfortable with digital photography.

Responsibilities

• Tracks and meets sales goals and objectives for Luxottica brands in an assigned store.
• Participates in assortment planning, assortment needs and edits.
• Manages the business, including driving, monitoring and reporting inconsistencies, evaluating sales trends and proposing moves.
• Greets customers immediately in a friendly and engaging manner and provides professional, personalized service to promote sales.
• Takes note of Luxottica product promotions and competitor offers to support sales efforts.
• Develops strong working relationships with store personnel.
• Actively looks for ways to generate leads to increase customer traffic to location inside the store.
• Effectively executes product promotions to increase sales and brand awareness.
• Ensures prominent product placement within department.
• Maintains cases and displays properly stocked; upholds Luxottica merchandising standards.
• Adheres to dress and attire requirements and store policies.
• Communicates with Retail Market Manager and Account Manager on events and feedback.
• Provides sales and relevant business intelligence to Retail Manager.
