Job summary

Shopko Optical in De Pere, Wisconsin, is seeking Production Specialists to support our eyewear manufacturing lab and stores by supplying frames, lenses and other materials for fabrication.

You will partner with the team to manage lab inventory, place vendor orders, expedite shipments, and provide timely status updates while adhering to safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment. Evening and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Optical experience a plus but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplies such as frames and lenses to the production lab for fabrication of eyeglasses for stores.
• Partner with team to manage lab inventory and place vendor orders.
• Expedite orders and provide status updates to production team and stores.
• Maintain safety and follow lab policies and OSHA guidelines.
