Job summary

An optical care provider in Sun City West, Arizona is looking for a skilled dispensing optician. You'll assist patients in selecting eyewear, manage inventory, and ensure that prescriptions are correctly interpreted. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience, preferably with ABO certification. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a dispensing optician.
• ABO Certification preferred.
• VSP Billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selection of best eyewear for their individual needs.
• Recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit patient's needs.
• Measure patient's pupillary distance and optical centers.
• Place orders for frames, lenses, and contacts from prescription labs.
• Adjust eyeglasses using tools for a proper fit.
• Maintain records of inventory and patient orders.
• Verify lenses meet specifications.
