Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Eyelet Toolmaker for first and second shifts. The role focuses on setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting deep draw transfer press tooling to support efficient production of high-quality parts.

You will read blueprints, apply precision measurement, perform tool changes, and collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and quality across all workstations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in toolmaking and working with deep draw transfer tooling.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, and repair complex tooling and gauges from blueprints and specs.
• Apply shop math and trigonometry to maintain tolerances.
• Hand-finish, harden, and prove out tooling; obtain QA approval on samples.
• Set up machines, perform tool changes, and ensure stations meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, adjust tooling and machine settings, repair worn components.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production to minimize downtime.
• Enter SPC and production data as required.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
