Job summary

Unity Eye Center in Norfolk, NE is seeking a Technician to assist doctors by preparing patients and exam rooms, performing preliminary tests, and helping with procedures. Training is provided for new hires who are eager to learn and grow, with a supportive team committed to high quality patient care.

The role emphasizes accurate data collection, patient communication, and smooth clinic workflow to ensure excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• No experience? Training provided.
• Ability to perform preliminary and ancillary testing.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist doctors with patient procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).
