Midwest Eye Consultants in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Technician to join our clinical team. You will prepare patients and exam rooms for eye examinations, perform preliminary testing, and assist physicians with procedures.

No experience is required — we offer a comprehensive training program. The position provides a starting wage with benefits, and opportunities for growth through our certification programs.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).
