Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• On-the-job training provided for ophthalmic testing procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations and explain testing procedures.
• Perform preliminary testing and assist physicians with exams.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and patient flow.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
• Assist doctors with procedures as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by office manager or physicians.
