Job summary

Premier Eye Associates in Opelika is seeking a friendly Eye Care Technician to join our growing private optometry practice. You’ll guide patients through intake, pre-testing, and education, and support doctors with lens services and follow-up care.

This full-time role features 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $14.00 per hour (final pay based on experience). We provide structured training and ongoing mentorship to help you develop clinical and optical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through intake, health history review, and diagnostic pre-testing.
• Reinforce patient education related to contact lenses, medical eye care, and prevention.
• Assist doctors with contact lens services, follow-up care, and treatment preparation.
• Provide attentive, organized, and patient-centered service throughout each visit.
