AVP•SEES Group is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our OR team in Forest, VA. The role supports surgeons and nurses, ensuring sterile technique and equipment readiness for procedures.

Qualifications

• Certification as a surgical technician or proof of equivalent training.
• Two years of hospital main operating room experience desired.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and supporting the operating room per policies and standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Prepare sterile supplies and support OR turnover.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and staff.
• Uphold HIPAA and safety requirements and participate in compliance training.
