Job summary

Northwest Eyes in Renton, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our ambulatory surgical center team. You’ll support physicians with pre- and postoperative calls, gather patient information, and document in the chart to uphold standards of care.

Two or more years of MA experience in a medical setting, current CPR/AED certification, and a willingness to travel between ASCs are required. You’ll collaborate closely with the RN, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow HIPAA/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of MA experience in a medical environment.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Willingness to travel between ASCs.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative and postoperative patient calls.
• Gathers and records patient information necessary to complete health history.
• Documents legibly in the patient record.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and rules in maintaining medical records.
• Abides by all policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Follow all compliance policies and procedures including HIPAA, OSHA/WISHA, Patient confidentiality, and insurance requirements.
