Location: Kohler, WI

Salary: Up to $85k/yr

Type: Full-time, permanent

This full time, permanent Extrusion Tooling Design Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing is atagrowing,very flexible, ISOcertifiedmanufacturerofplasticextrusionproducts. The companyis financiallystable andprotectedfrom economicdownturns as customers are ina widevarietyofindustriesandarelocatedaroundtheworld. Average employee tenure is 20 years with many employees wanting to spend their entire career with the company. MasterCAM and Fusion 360 are used for design. This position could grow into a department head position, if that is of interest.

Responsibilities:

• Creating plastic extrusion tooling designs for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
• Directing the designing, building, modifying, installing and maintaining efforts
• Assisting machine operators and machinists
• Adjusting the extrusion tooling
• Working with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot and improve production processes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of plastic extrusion tooling design experience for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
• 3+ years of strong extrusion processing experience
• Strong extrusion processing knowledge
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes

• This position is onsite with no remote possibility
