Job summary

Ravago Americas is seeking Production Technicians to lead the safe and efficient production of quality material that meets customer requirements. The role involves working in a non-climate controlled environment with 12-hour shifts and strict adherence to Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.

Responsibilities include moving and packaging raw and finished goods, labeling boxes correctly, taking quality samples for inspections, performing product changeovers, and using an overhead crane

Qualifications

• Work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Follow all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Move, load and package Raw and Finished Goods.
• Complete box sheets with box numbers, finished end temperatures, correct weights, and indicate whether Conforming or Non-Conforming.
• Ensure boxes are labelled with Product ID and correct weights.
• Retrieve a quality sample from each box for inspections.
• Complete change overs from one product to another to prevent contamination.
• Use an overhead crane to transfer blending totes to the top of the extruder.
• Uphold Ravago’s Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material handling, packaging, and labeling as required.
• Perform changeovers and prevent cross-contamination between products.
• Operate cranes safely and monitor equipment for proper operation.

About The Position

• Work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• 12 Hour Shifts
• Follow all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
• Forklift experience "preferred but not required".
• Move, load and package Raw and Finished Goods.
• Complete box sheets correctly with box numbers, finished end temperatures, correct weights, and indicate whether the box is “Conforming” or “Non-Conforming”.
• Ensure that boxes are labelled correctly – Product ID, correct weights and any other customer requirements.
• Retrieve a quality sample from each box to place on the quality board for that line for quality inspections.
• Complete change overs from one product to another, ensuring there isn’t any contamination.
• Use an overhead crane to transfer blending totes of mixed materials to top of the extruder.
• Uphold Ravago’s Code of Conduct.

Education:

A High school diploma or equivalent.
