Job summary

Salary range is $72,000 - $83,000 per year with a first shift (8 AM - 4 PM).

Knowledge of polymer extrusion, setup troubleshooting, and continuous improvement is essential; High School education is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in extrusion or related manufacturing roles.
• Experience leading shift technicians and operating high-precision lines.
• Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment per specifications.
• Troubleshoot defects, resin inconsistencies, and mechanical failures to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Perform preventive maintenance, die changes, and tooling setups to maximize throughput.
• Mentor and train shift technicians and machine operators.
• Document production parameters and enforce safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate complex extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment according to strict technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot line defects, resin inconsistencies, and mechanical failures to minimize downtime and reduce scrap.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, die changes, and tooling setups to maximize throughput and yield.
• Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to shift technicians and machine operators.
• Document production parameters, maintain quality compliance standards, and enforce strict safety protocols.
