Job summary

Drake Plastics in Cypress, TX, seeks a motivated team member to support extrusion operations by preparing ovens, keeping a clean, organized work area, and assisting the extrusion team to maximize productivity, quality, and on-time production.

You will learn Drake's extrusion processes and safety procedures, safely load and operate extrusion support equipment, and work within a 12-hour day shift with 42 hours per week, enjoying comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Work Environment / Schedule

This position primarily works within climate-controlled industrial buildings but is required to work on some outdoor projects. Will spend most of the day on your feet and working with your hands. The standard work schedule is 12-hour day shift, averaging 42 hours a week, with every other long weekend and holiday off.
