Job summary

James Hardie in Scranton, PA is seeking a production associate to assist the extrusion operator in a large, 24/7 manufacturing environment. The role supports producing quality products per specs and maintaining safety standards. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Basic math/numeracy skills required.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist extrusion operator with running equipment and producing quality products.
• Perform quality checks (color, surface, size) to meet product standards.
• Package finished material with proper labeling and palletize.
• Move material to designated areas and keep work area clean and organized.
• Complete production operator reports and related paperwork.
• Follow all safety, health and environmental procedures.
