Job summary

Giro Pack, Inc. in Vidalia, GA is seeking a dependable Extrusion Assistant to support production operations on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will perform manual labor tasks and assist the Extrusion Operator to manufacture packaging products.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet the physical demands (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Good hand-eye coordination required.
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Fill hoppers with plastic film blow as needed.
• Maintain/service production machinery as required.
• Collect trash, debris and other waste to keep the work area clean and safe.
• Complete required production forms.
• Assist the Extrusion Operator with changing bobbing spools.
• Transfer scrap materials to assigned area.
• Operate film blow scrap/recycle machinery.
• Weigh, scan and transport finished products to assigned area.
• Conduct other tasks as assigned by extrusion operator/supervisor.
