Job summary

Georg Fischer in Easton, PA, is seeking a Process Technician to support extrusion lines and maintain a clean, orderly work area while ensuring products meet quality specifications.

You will assist senior technicians with tooling changes, start-ups, and material handling, document production tickets, and operate a forklift as required, contributing to a compliant quality system. The role emphasizes safety and procedural adherence in a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a neat, clean, orderly work area, cleaning machines, and work areas after a change/work has been completed.
• Assists higher level Process Techs online/tooling changes.
• Assists higher level Process Techs in starting up extrusion lines.
• Assists higher level Process Techs to keep the machines running at standard and meeting Quality Assurance specifications on finished product.
• Assist in higher level Process Techs in maintaining proper paperwork as required. Ensures that every machine has the correct part(s) identified as scheduled to run in the extrusion line.
• Assist in higher level Process Techs in identifying correct materials and making material attachments to the extrusion machine.
• Ability to operate a forklift in accordance with state and local regulations with an approved forklift license (may be working toward the license with plant H.R./training dept.).
• Supports the established Quality Policy
• Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions.
• Perform and document QC measurements including visual inspection to ensure product is within specification.
• Fills out production tickets with the proper information for audit station one. I.e. part number, weight of lift etc.
