Job summary

The AmeriLux Family of Companies is seeking a Process Engineer to support, optimize, and maintain our plastic extrusion processes on the production floor in Wisconsin. You will work closely with production, maintenance, quality, materials management, and operations leadership to ensure safe, efficient operation and on‑spec product quality.

This role blends hands‑on machine operation with process development, production planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity,

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and data/documentation accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion processes and related equipment to support manufacturing operations.
• Assist with setup, changeovers, startup/shutdown procedures, and process adjustments.
• Develop and maintain machine specifications, setup sheets, and standard work instructions.
• Monitor critical process variables and ensure product quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Support production planning, scheduling, and inventory management activities.
