Job summary

Buckeye Fire Equipment seeks a DDI Operator at our Kings Mountain, NC facility. You will operate extrusion presses, load metal plates, and produce cylinders while maintaining production records and adhering to safety standards.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read instructions, stand for long periods, lift 35 lbs, and communicate effectively with coworkers. A weekly attendance bonus is offered along with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and to lift 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates extrusion presses, loading metal plates and unloading cylinders produced.
• Dimensional and visual inspection of cylinders produced.
• Tracks hourly production, makes calculations, and records results legibly.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
