Job summary

Wolverine Industries is seeking a supervisory role for the Pack area to establish best practices across shifts, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement in productivity and quality. You will train new team members and monitor attendance and disciplinary culture.

The position requires reading production documents, MS Office proficiency, and a willingness to obtain forklift/crane certifications. Evening and weekend availability with occasional overtime is expected in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Wolverine leadership experience for more than 1 year or equivalent.
• Epics Knowledge.
• At least 1 year Wolverine Pack area management experience is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
• Hands on aluminum extrusion experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Establish common best practices with stakeholders across shifts.
• Share, coach, mentor, and track best practices.
• Train new team members to procedures, drive continuous improvement.
• Increase productivity to meet pack lbs./table targets and exceed PPMH targets.
• Communicate with manager about issues.
• Quality procedure confirmation, proper packing is being utilized.
• Set up queue to ensure orders are ready for shipment.
• All other duties as assigned.
