Job summary

CoWorx Staffing is now hiring 2nd and 3rd Shift Extrusion Operators for a leading manufacturing client in Dayville, CT. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and advance your career in extrusion operations within a stable, team-oriented environment.

Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour for 2nd shift and $3.00 per hour for 3rd shift. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered after 6 months of employment, along with career growth

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of extrusion or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, clean, and maintain extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Assist with machine set-ups, changeovers, and process adjustments to ensure quality and production goals are met.
• Monitor production lines, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform line clearance activities.
• Package, label, and inspect finished products according to quality standards.
• Perform quality checks and measurements using precision inspection tools.
• Complete production, inventory, and quality documentation accurately and on time.
• Monitor material and supply levels and enter data into production tracking systems.
• Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and regulatory requirements to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Desired Background/Skills:

• ISO, FDA, and/or cGMP experience a plus
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
