Job summary

PlayCore Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Extrusion Operator (Tape) in Dadeville, AL to run extrusion equipment in a safe, quality-driven environment. You will collaborate with the Lead Operator and Shift Supervisor to maintain production standards, minimize waste, and train new operators on line procedures.

The role emphasizes hands-on line checks, equipment identification, proper shutdowns, and adherence to safety regulations as well as efficient material handling using NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the Company’s mission and values-based culture
• Work with the Lead Operator to uphold standards including quality and run time efficiency, and waste reduction
• New Operator Training
• Operator Accountability
• Perform checks on lines in operation during shift to ensure settings read correctly
• Identify the equipment and components of the extrusion line
• Identify e-stops and when to use them
• Perform proper shutdown procedures
• Understand downstream equipment and proper operation of equipment
• Understand proper operation of the dosing system
• Keep area and line free of debris and waste
• Identify materials needed for the line and their staging
• Issue and return material to line using NetSuite
• Identify and troubleshoot machine/material issues
• Follow all safety regulations
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor and Lead Operator
