Position: Extrusion - Operator I - Nights

Location: Chatsworth, GA

This is a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Responsibilities

As an Operator 1 in the Extrusion Department, your duties include:

Stacker:

• Perform visual inspections for print, wear, and pad defects.
• Check pad, print, and wear alignment.
• Inspect and align trim knives as needed.
• Conduct quality checks and verify spect sheet accuracy.
• Notify Operator 2 of defects.
• Dispose of trimmings into scrap bins.
• Use pallet jacks to move finished pallets.
• Lift slabs weighing up to 25 pounds and maneuver pallets up to 80 pounds.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pad:

• Check and adjust pad alignment.
• Replace pad rolls when needed.
• Operate crane and monitor pad temperature.
• Handle pad rolls up to 80 pounds.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Unwinder:

• Inspect print and wear defects visually.
• Check and align print and wear rolls.
• Add new print and wear rolls as necessary.
• Verify correct materials are used and spectral sheet accuracy.
• Operate crane and handle rolls up to 80 pounds.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass an eye exam.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and dismount lift trucks repeatedly.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy environments.
• Complete Huali’s lift truck certification.
