Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma and one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of extrusion equipment such as extruders, braiders, pullers, cutters, dies, etc.
• Self-motivated with good judgment to maintain quantity with quality.
• Ability to recognize problems and adjust equipment accordingly.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and follow instructions.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot extrusion equipment (extruders, blenders, cutters, pullers, water baths).

1. Assists in operating, maintaining and troubleshooting extruders, blenders, cutters, pullers, water baths, and various extrusion equipment.
2. Process various documentation, such as work orders.
3. Assists in the implementation of new products and equipment.
4. Contributes to meeting department goals and operational metrics.
5. Performs other related duties, as required.
