We are actively hiring Extrusion Operators at our Concord, NC plant. Americhem is a leading manufacturer of custom color concentrates. Our production operators set up, operate, and tend extruding machines to produce a variety of products used in manufacturing finished goods.

Position Details:

• Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm to 7 am
• Starting Pay: $18 + $1.75 shift differential
• Benefits include: 10 paid holidays, 3 weeks PTO, free uniforms, medical/dental/vision insurance, company-paid STD, LTD, Life, AD&D after 90 days, and a 401(k) plan with matching

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, tow motor/forklift experience, dependability, strong math and analytic skills

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety by following procedures and participating in safety programs
• Produce compound samples using production equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
• Add color mix to feeders using tow motor/forklift
