Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking an extrusion operator at our Prosperity, SC facility. You will learn to support the extrusion line, with opportunities to rotate to unwind, winder, or scale, while meeting safety standards and quality specs.

You must be 18+, have basic PC skills, and be able to read a tape measure. 2–3 shifts available: 2nd and 3rd. Starting pay is $20.37/hr with shift differentials; wage progression is offered and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Mechanical/Technical aptitude.
• Ability to read a tape measure to increments as small as 1/32 inch.
• Entry level computer skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Must wear steel toe shoes and safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Operate extruder to produce rolls meeting quality specs.
• Complete and process documents for extrusion operations.
• Make and manage process and roll changes.
• Inspect quality during extrusion and finished rolls.
• Communicate information at shift changes.
• Follow safety procedures and locate emergency equipment.
• Provide relief to teammates as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
