Job description



Staffmark is currently hiring an Extrusion Operator for a manufacturing facility in West Chester, OH. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment to ensure high-quality production of master rolls.



Pay: $21-$24/hour (based on experience)



Shift: 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule | 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM



Responsibilities:



  • Set up and operate extrusion lines to produce master rolls to specification

  • Monitor equipment and make minor adjustments (e.g., web guide, tension, width)

  • Perform quality checks and audits to ensure product consistency

  • Conduct resin and ink setups, blending, and perform troubleshooting/maintenance

  • Minimize material waste while maintaining product quality

  • Use job specification sheets to determine correct film properties (width, gauge, treat level)

  • Maintain accurate setup and quality documentation

  • Communicate issues with raw materials, maintenance, or quality to supervisors

  • Lift up to 50 lbs as required



Requirements:



  • Minimum 3 years of plastic extrusion experience

  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift

  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
