Job summary

Novolex in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an Extrusion Operator to operate and set up HDPE film extrusion lines. This full-time role offers a 7am-7pm rotating schedule (2-2-3) and requires safety compliance, 12-hour shifts, and readiness for overtime.

You will follow JSA, SOPs, monitor roll weights, ensure proper packaging, and complete daily production reporting while contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shifts.
• Work overtime as required.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies.
• Safely and efficiently set-up and operate extrusion lines to produce high quality HDPE film.
• Operate extrusion lines in accordance with job safety analysis, standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and operator training to meet or exceed productivity requirements and minimize downtime and waste.
• Ensure that proper materials are being used in accordance with procedures.
• Monitor roll weights to ensure the correct gauge is maintained throughout the shift.
• Assure proper packaging and labeling of film.
• Complete daily production reporting.

Compensation

• $20.00 per hour

Available Shift

• 7am-7pm (rotating days and nights every 28 days, 2-2-3 schedule)
