• Set up and operate extrusion machines according to job specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and output.
• Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, temperature, pressure) to maintain optimal production conditions.
• Make repairs to equipment when necessary and replace all broken and/or worn components.
• Perform routine quality checks and inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Record production data and complete shift logs accurately.
• Load raw materials and monitor material feed.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any safety problems to the Production Manager immediately.
• Commitment to our continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Identify, label, weigh and dispose of scrap.
• Clean and maintain machines and work area to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams as needed.
• Fulfills the role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instruction.
• Identify and resolve basic machine malfunctions or deviations.
